Upcoming Event
Introduction | Organized by New Era University College and curated by the Institute of International Education, the “International Academic and Cultural Exchange Series” will be held periodically throughout 2024. The series invites accomplished scholars and experts from both China and abroad to share their research and insights. The first lecture in this series will be delivered by Mr. Jia Yunfeng from Jilin Province, China, focusing on the topic of Shamanic Culture and Its Essence of Existence. Public understanding of shamanism often centres on religious belief and is frequently associated with superstition. In this lecture, Mr. Jia will challenge these misconceptions, exploring shamanism as a deeply rooted cultural tradition in Northeast China.
