Content Overview | This article examines a phenomenon in Malaysia's pursuit of gender equality—while the number of women receiving higher education has been increasing year by year, there has not been a corresponding rise in the number of women assuming leadership roles in universities. The study conducts interviews with academic personnel to explore potential factors behind this disparity, as well as the internal and external challenges faced by Malaysian women in attaining leadership positions in higher education institutions. |
