Delegation from Agibot Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd.

On 26 February 2026, a delegation from Agibot Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. visited New Era University College (NEUC). The purpose of this visit was to consolidate and deepen the cooperative relationship between the two sides through exchanges and visits, explore more feasible cooperation projects, and further promote the innovation and development of intelligent science and technology education.

The representatives from Agibot Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. included Yau Yik Yong (Malaysisa Business Development Director) and Josh Yuan Zhe (Mr. Robot Engineer).

The representatives from Lew Siew Boon (Assistant Dean, Institute of International Education), Ang Yang Yi (Dean, Faculty of Computing and Innovative Technology), Ng Khai Boon (Head, Office of International Academic Exchange, Institute of International Education), Tan Yee May (Head, Department of Information Technology), Tan Ming Ming (Deputy Head, Department of Innovation and Technology) and Wong Jing Yin (Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education).

During the meeting, representatives from both sides introduced their respective development backgrounds, core businesses, current status, and future plans. They also engaged in discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration, including artificial intelligence, the real-world application of humanoid robotics technologies, and industry–education integration. After the meeting, the two sides moved to take a group photo, bringing the exchange to a successful close.

This visit has laid a foundation for future cooperation between the two sides in the development of academic disciplines in artificial intelligence and robotics, industry–education integration, as well as internships, training, and capacity-building programs. It has also injected new momentum into educational and industry collaboration between China and Malaysia in the field of intelligent technologies.
