On 30 July 2026, 67 teachers and students from Ammartpanichnukul School, Thailand, visited New Era University College (NEUC) for an educational and cultural exchange. Through a campus tour and cultural engagements, the students gained a deeper understanding of the university’s learning atmosphere and vibrant campus life, while exploring tertiary education possibilities.
Assoc. She also expressed her hope that the exchange would further strengthen interaction and ties between the two institutions.
During the campus tour, the students visited various facilities, including the Tan Lark Sye Library and the Nantah Resource Centre, gaining insights into NEUC’s educational features, academic resources and campus culture. As part of the cultural experience, the students also participated in a Batik Collage Workshop conducted by Ms. Huda binti Omar, Lecturer from the Department of Creative Multimedia, where they had the first-hand opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty of Malaysian batik.
The exchange not only allowed the students to experience NEUC’s learning environment and campus life, but also further strengthened educational and cultural exchanges between Malaysia and Thailand. Moving forward, NEUC will continue to expand its international cooperation network through diverse exchange programmes and learning platforms, fostering cultural understanding and academic interaction among students from different countries while creating a more globalised learning environment.
