Delegation from Nanjing Audit University
On 25 May 2026, a delegation from Nanjing Audit University visited New Era University College (NEUC). The purpose of the visit was to strengthen and deepen the collaborative relationship between the two universities through exchanges, while exploring more feasible projects to further promote educational ties between Malaysia and China and jointly cultivate professionals in various fields.
The representatives from Nanjing Audit University included Prof. Dr. Li Qianwen (Vice President), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wang Fang (Head of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange), Prof. Dr. Sun Wenyuan (Head of Student Affairs Department), Prof. Dr. Liu Yan (Head of Academic Affairs Office).
The representatives from NEUC included Prof. Dr. Mok Soon Chong (Vice-Chancellor), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lew Siew Boon (Assistant Dean, Institute of International Education), Asst. Prof. Dr. Frankie Goh Song Peng (Dean, Faculty of Accountancy, Management and Economics), Asst. Prof. Dr. Ng Khai Boon (Head of International Academic Exchange Office, Institute of International Education), Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head, International Student Recruitment Office, Institute of International Education) and Ms. Ther Hui Yi (Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education).
During the meeting, representatives from both universities began by reviewing and summarizing their previous collaborative projects. Building on this foundation, they engaged in focused discussions on multiple potential areas of cooperation, including joint programs, academic exchanges, and mutual visits between faculty and students. Before the meeting, led by Ms. Phang, the delegation from Nanjing Audit University visited the Tan Lark Sye Library and the Nantah Resource Centre to gain deeper insights into NEUC’s educational philosophy, founding background, and the development of Chinese education in Malaysia.
