Delegation from Soka University Japan
4March 2026, a delegation from Soka University visited New Era University College (NEUC) to engage in discussions on academic exchange and potential future collaboration.
The visiting representatives from Soka University included Prof. Dr. Ichiro Sugimoto (Dean, Faculty of International Liberal Arts), and Mr. Koji Oda (Manager, Faculty of International Liberal Arts). The representatives of NEUC were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lew Siew Boon (Assistant Dean, Institute of International Education) and Ms. Wong Jing Yin (Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education).
During the meeting, both parties introduced their respective institutional backgrounds, academic strengths, and international engagement. Discussions were also held on possible areas of cooperation, including academic exchange, student mobility, and other collaborative initiatives. Both sides expressed their interest in strengthening mutual engagement and exploring concrete opportunities for future collaboration.
This visit not only enhanced mutual understanding between the two institutions but also laid a positive foundation for future academic exchange and cooperation.
