Delegation from Center for International China Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences
On December 5, 2025, a delegation led by Director Tang Lei from the Center for International China Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, visited New Era University College. Both parties researched the current development of Chinese education and China studies in Malaysia and engaged in in-depth discussions on potential pathways to deepen academic collaboration and exchange.
During the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Tey Shi Bin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International and Corporate Development) of New Era University College, provided a comprehensive overview of the university’s educational philosophy, the history and current state of Chinese education in Malaysia, as well as the academic achievements and research directions of the university in the fields of China studies and Southeast Asian studies.
Both parties exchanged views on expanding collaborative projects and promoting mutual visits, laying a solid foundation for further cooperation in academic research and cultural exchange in the future.
