Delegation from Guangxi Technology and Business Vocational College
On August 26, 2025, a delegation from Guangxi Technology and Business Vocational College visited New Era University College. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen and deepen the collaborative relationship between the two universities through exchanges, while exploring more feasible projects to further promote educational ties between Malaysia and China and jointly cultivate professionals in various fields.
The representatives from Guangxi Technology and Business Vocational College included Prof. Zheng Hua (Vice President), Prof. Gao Jie (Director of the College Quality Management Office, Deputy Director of the Teaching and Research Office of the Academic Affairs Office), Prof. Zhang Liyong (Dean of the School of Smart Design), Assoc. Prof. Zhang Fengxiong (Vice Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence), and Ms. Zhou Zemin (Academic Affairs Office, Center for International Cooperation and Exchange).
The representatives from NEUC included Prof. Dr. Mok Soon Chong (Vice Chancellor), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tey Shi Bin （Deputy Vice-Chancellor [International and Corporate Development]）, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lew Siew Boon (Assistant Dean, Institute of International Education), Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head of the International Student Recruitment Office, Institute of International Education) and Ms. Lim Jia Yi (Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education).
During the meeting, representatives from both universities introduced their respective educational backgrounds, current development status, and future plans. They also held in-depth discussions on potential collaborative initiatives such as joint program development, academic exchanges, and faculty and student mobility. Both sides expressed their expectation to promote more collaborative projects in the future and work together to cultivate talents with international perspectives across various fields.
