Delegation from College of Innovation and Design NTU and NTU Alumni Association
On 1 August 2025, a representative from the College of Innovation and Design at National Taiwan University (NTU) and the NTU Alumni Association visited New Era University College (NEUC). The visit aimed to strengthen and deepen the collaborative relationship between the two institutions through in-person exchanges.
The visiting delegation from NTU’s College of Innovation and Design included Ms. Chen Yu-Hsuan (Event Planning Manager and "Design Your Life" Program Lecturer) and Mr. Lin Po-Heng (Program Coordinator and Lecturer of the "Design Your Life" Program). Representing the NTU Alumni Association were Mr. Chew Kian Kheong (President) and Mr. Law Teck Hao (Board Member).
The representatives from NEUC included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lew Siew Boon (Assistant Dean, Institute of International Education), Ms. Fang See Khung (Lecturer, Department of Art and Design, Faculty of Creative Arts), Mr. Yap Chee Keng (Lecturer, Department of Art & Design, Faculty of Creative Arts) and Ms. Wong Jing Yin (Education Programme Specialist).
Both institutions began with a discussion session where they introduced their respective educational philosophies and institutional directions, and explored potential areas for future collaboration. During the exchange, the visiting representatives highlighted the distinctive features of NTU’s College of Innovation and Design and the core concepts of the “Design Your Life” program. The two sides also engaged in lively discussion on how such program concepts could be adapted for local educational settings and potential collaborative initiatives.
The visit concluded with an exchange of souvenirs, symbolizing mutual goodwill and laying the groundwork for continued cooperation.
