On 28 July 2025, China Testing Artificial Intelligence Union (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd. visited New Era University College (NEUC). The purpose of the visit was to gain a deeper understanding of the achievements and strengths of both parties in the fields of technology and education, and to explore the potential for collaboration between industry and higher education.

The visiting delegation from China Testing artificial intelligence Union (Shenzhen)Technology Co., Ltd. included Mr. Li Haibo (Chairman), Ms. Cai Mingxia (Vice Chairman),  Mr. Zhao Yuzhu (Chairman,Wuhu Jinrui New Energy Automobile Technology Co., Ltd.), Dato’ Seri  Desmond Ong (Director,CNET (M) SDN. BHD.), and Mr.Yeoh Poh Huat (Director,CNET (M) SDN. BHD. ) . 

Representing NEUC were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lew Siew Boon (Assistant Dean, Institute of International Education), Senior Lecture Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head of the International Student Recruitment Office, Institute of International Education), Assist. Prof. Dr. Loong Ying Tai (Head of the Department of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering), Assist. Prof. Dr. Chong Hue Yee (Deputy Head of the Department of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering) and Mr. Lee Hong Yi (Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education).

During the discussion, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as co-establishment of training bases, technical training for new energy vehicle projects, joint talent cultivation, and technology transfer. The goal is to promote the implementation of university-industry cooperation projects through resource integration and complementary advantages.This exchange laid a solid foundation for future collaboration between the two sides in the coordinated development of new energy vehicle technology and education, with a shared commitment to cultivating high-quality, application-oriented talents to meet the demands of future industrial development.
