On June 6, 2025, a delegation from Nanning University visited New Era University College (NEUC). The purpose of the visit was to strengthen and deepen the collaborative relationship between the both universities through exchanges, while exploring more feasible projects to further promote educational ties between Malaysia and China and jointly cultivate professionals in various fields. 

The representatives from Nanning University included Prof.Dr. Wang Tao (Dean, Department of Business), Prof. Lu Zhixiang (Deputy Dean, Department of Artificial Intelligence), Prof. Jiang Lijun (Deputy Dean, Department of Business), Ms.Li Junyi (Deputy Director, Department of Development Planning and International Cooperation Office and Associate Dean of ASEAN College), Prof.Dr. Fan Fan (Chief International Cooperation Advisor, Department of Business), and Ms.Yao Wenyan (Teacher and Foreign Affairs Secretary, Department of Business).

The representatives from NEUC included Prof.Dr. Mok Soon Chong (Vice-Chancellor), Asst. Prof. Frankie Goh Song Peng (Dean of the Faculty of Accountancy, Management and Economics), Dr. Ang Yang Yi (Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Innovative Technology), Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head of the International Student Recruitment Office), Ms. Yap Seow Yu (Head of the Department of Language and Intercultural Centre) and Ms. Lim Jia Yi (Education Programme Specialist). 

The representatives from both universities first held an exchange meeting, briefly introducing their respective educational backgrounds, current development status, and future plans. Both representatives also explored potential collaborations in various areas, including joint discipline development, academic exchanges, and faculty-student visits. Building on the discussions, the both universities further signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on international cooperation, aiming to jointly develop more collaborative projects.
