New Era University College Representatives Attend "2025 RCEP Member States & Yangtze River Delta Youth Business Dialogue"
On June 6, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lew Siew Boon (Head, International Academic Exchange Office) and Ms. Lee Hui Wen (Head, International Student Service Centre), was invited to attend the "2025 RCEP Member States & Yangtze River Delta Youth Business Dialogue", which was jointly organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Anhui Provincial People’s Government.
This dialogue aimed to establish a high-level platform for international cooperation and exchange, promote the joint development of educational projects within the RCEP region, enhance human resource cultivation among member states, and contribute to regional economic and social development.
During the event, in the presence of representatives from the Civil Exchange Promotion Division of the Anhui Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and over 200 young entrepreneurs from RCEP member states, New Era University College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huangshan Vocational and Technical College, marking a new phase of collaboration between the two institutions in areas such as joint educational programs, discipline development, faculty and student exchanges, and academic cooperation.
In an interview by Huangshan News Broadcast, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lew Siew Boon stated, "Through this conference, we have witnessed China’s strong support and high-quality development in education. By leveraging the strengths of both institutions, we aim to create mutually beneficial outcomes, provide students with enhanced academic resources, cultivate cross-cultural talents for the region, and contribute significantly to educational and talent development in both Malaysia and ASEAN countries."
Moving forward, NEUC remains committed to the principles of sharing and reciprocity. We will deepen international exchanges and cooperation with China and ASEAN nations, actively promote and implement more projects that benefit faculty and students, and nurture globally competent talents.
