On 3 June 2025, a delegation from Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) visited New Era University College (NEUC) to strengthen bilateral cooperation and explore developments in international Chinese language education.

The visiting delegation from BLCU included Prof. Dr. Wei Hui (Deputy Party Secretary), Assoc. Prof. Dr.  Liang Yanmin (Party Secretary of the International Chinese Language College), Prof. Dr. Xun Endong (Dean of the Faculty of Linguistic Sciences and Resources and Institute of Linguistic Sciences), Prof. Dr. Bu Chenguang (Executive Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Party Committee), Ms. Liu Yixuan (Staff member of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange), and Ms. Qin Mengyu (Staff member of the Confucius Institute Office).

Representing NEUC were Prof. Dr. Mok Soon Chong (Vice-Chancellor), Ms. Lee Yun Xin (Head of the Department of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, Institute of International Education), Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head of the International Student Recruitment Office, Institute of International Education), Ms. Yap Seow Yu (Head of the Language and Intercultural Centre, Institute of International Education), and Ms. Wong Jing Yin (Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education).

During the meeting, both parties introduced their respective institutional backgrounds and engaged in in-depth discussions on future collaboration. Key areas explored included joint faculty development, student exchange programs, collaborative teaching and research, the establishment of training workshops, and vocational education courses. Among these, programs such as the "Advanced Training Program for Chinese Language Teachers" were identified as key areas of cooperation, reflecting the shared goal of both sides in promoting professional development for teachers. After the meeting, representatives exchange of gifts and took a group photo to commemorate the visit.
