Delegation from Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology
On May 8, 2025, a delegation headed by Prof. Dr. Zheng Bing from the Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology visited New Era University College for academic exchange and collaboration. This significant meeting was designed to consolidate and deepen the institutional partnership between both universities, while exploring the developmental landscape of vocational and technical education in Malaysia and China. The discussions focused on identifying potential collaborative projects and establishing frameworks for joint talent cultivation initiatives in professional fields.

During the formal meeting session, both institutions commenced with comprehensive presentations detailing their respective educational foundations and current institutional developments. This was followed by substantive deliberations focusing on international academic cooperation frameworks, including but not limited to scholarly exchange programs and student mobility initiatives. After the meeting, the representatives from Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology led by Prof. Dr. Mok Soon Chong visited the Tan Lark Sye Library, Nantah Resource Centre and Institute of Vocational and Continuing Education to gain a deeper understanding of our current development and future plans.
