New Era University College Representative Attends the Unveiling Ceremony of the China-ASEAN International Youth Digital & Intelligent Learning and Research Center at Guangxi Minzu University
On 25 April 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Tey Shi Bin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International and Corporate Development) of New Era University College, was invited to attend the Unveiling Ceremony of the China-ASEAN International Youth Digital & Intelligent Learning and Research Center at Guangxi Minzu University.
In her speech, Associate Professor Dr. Tey emphasised that as a higher education institution with a mission to "locally grounded, globally connected," New Era University College resonates deeply with the Centre’s vision of “digital empowerment and cultural integration.” She noted that the establishment of the Centre offers a boundless learning platform for ASEAN youth and injects strong momentum into regional digital talent cultivation.
The Centre was jointly initiated by the School of Artificial Intelligence of Guangxi Minzu University and the Guangxi Research and Travel Association for Primary and Secondary Schools. It aims to deepen China–ASEAN cooperation in digital education and study tour programs, building an international platform for youth innovation and development. Around 100 representatives from the education sector, enterprises, and academia across China and ASEAN countries attended the hybrid event.
