Delegation from Glodon Company Limited
On 24 April 2025, Glodon Company Limited visited New Era University College. The purpose of the visit was to gain a deeper understanding of the achievements and strengths of both parties in the fields of technology and education, and to explore the potential for collaboration between industry and higher education.
The visiting delegation from Glodon Company Limited included Mr. Diao Chengyuan (Director of Overseas Markets), Mr. Cao Lijun (Overseas Market Manager), and Mr. Chen Fusheng (Sales Manager of the Malaysia Branch). Representing New Era University College were Assistant Professor Dr. Lew Siew Boon (Head of International Academic Exchange Office, Institute of International Education), Dr. Yang Yang Yi (Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Innovative Technology), Assistant Professor Dr. Loong Ying Tai (Head of the Department of Engineering, Faculty of Computer and Innovative Technology), and Ms. Wong Jing Yin (Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education).
During the discussion, both parties engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as joint development of training labs, software training for non-academic programs, collaborative talent cultivation, and technology transfer. The aim is to leverage each other’s resources and strengths to promote the implementation of university-industry cooperation projects. This exchange laid a solid foundation for future collaboration in technological innovation and coordinated education development, with a shared goal of cultivating high-quality, application-oriented talents to meet the needs of future industries.
