New Era University College Delegation Visits Yango University
On 18 March 2025, a delegation from New Era University College visited Yango University accompanied by Ms. Huang WenFei (Former Vice Chairman, Fuzhou Federation of Trade Unions; Former Director, Mawei Culture and Sports Bureau). The purpose of this visit was to promote educational exchanges between Malaysia and China, explore more collaborative opportunities, and jointly advance a new chapter in Malaysia-China educational cooperation.
The representatives from NEUC included: Associate Professor Dr. Hsu Chia Fang (Head, Department of Early Childhood Education), Ms. Lee Yun Xin (Head, Department of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language), Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head, International Student Recruitment Office) and Ms. Lim Jia Yi (Education Programme Specialist). The representatives of Yango University included: Mr. Lan ShiCai (Director, International Cooperation and Exchange Office), Ms. Chen Ying (Assistant, Dean of the School of Arts), Ms. Wu Qiong (Assistant, Director International Cooperation and Exchange Office), Ms. Shao WenTing (Executive, International Cooperation and Exchange Office), Ms. Feng JiangYun (Executive, International Cooperation and Exchange Office).
At the meeting, both universities introduced their respective founding backgrounds, educational philosophies, and current campus development. This was followed by in-depth discussions on feasible collaborative projects, such as academic exchanges and research cooperation. They expressed hope that more frequent interactions would strengthen the partnership between the two universities while further advancing Malaysia-China educational collaboration. The goal is to cultivate more well-rounded professionals and researchers with a global perspective.
