New Era University College Delegation Visits Fuzhou University

On 20 March 2025, a delegation from New Era University College visited Fuzhou University with the aim of promoting educational exchanges between Malaysia and China, exploring more collaborative opportunities, and jointly advancing a new chapter in Malaysia-China educational cooperation.

The representatives from NEUC included: Associate Professor Dr. Hsu Chia Fang (Head, Department of Early Childhood Education), Ms. Lee Yun Xin (Head, Department of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language), Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head, International Student Recruitment Office), and Ms. Lim Jia Yi (Education Programme Specialist). The representatives from Fuzhou University included: Mr. Hu PeiJie (Deputy Director, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange), Ms. Zhang LingYu (Research Staff Member, Department of Xiamen Academy of Arts and Design), and Ms. Zeng XiaoXia (Executive, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange).

During the meeting, both parties introduced their respective founding backgrounds, educational philosophies, and current campus development statuses. This was followed by in-depth discussions on feasible collaborative projects, such as academic exchanges and research cooperation. The discussions emphasized the hope that more frequent interactions would strengthen the partnership between the two institutions while further advancing the deepening and development of Malaysia-China educational collaboration, with the goal of nurturing more well-rounded professionals and researchers with international perspectives.

After the meeting, representatives from both sides exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for a group photo in front of Fuzhou University's Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.
