Delegation from Beijing Dayou Educational Science and Technology Research Institute & Asia Television Digital Media (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
On January 9, a delegation from Beijing Dayou Educational Science and Technology Research Institute & Asia Television Digital Media (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd visited New Era University College. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen and deepen the tripartite cooperation, as well as to explore more feasible projects, further promoting educational exchanges between Malaysia and China.
The representatives from Beijing Dayou Educational Science and Technology Research Institute & Asia Television Digital Media (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd included Mr.Yang LiCheng (Chairman, Beijing Dayou Educational Science and Technology Research Institute) , Mr.Pang Duo (Vice President, Beijing Dayou Educational Science and Technology Research Institute) , Ms.Wang Jing [Business Director, Asia Television Digital Media (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd] , Mr.Yap Jia Qing (Malaysia-China Business Council Trade & Promotion Committee). The representatives from NEUC included Associate Prof. Dr. Tey Shi Bin [Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International and Corporate Development)], Ms. Gabriel Lau Sen Man (University-Enterprise Collaboration & Professional Development Training), Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head, International Student Recruitment Office) and Ms. Lim Jia Yi (Education Programme Specialist).
During the meeting, the representatives from all three parties first introduced their respective development statuses and then engaged in discussions regarding the direction of future cooperation. Furthermore, based on these discussions, the three parties signed an international cooperation memorandum, aiming to jointly develop Malaysia-China collaborative educational projects and work together to cultivate professionals in various fields.
After the meeting, the delegation led by Associate Prof. Dr. Tey Shi Bin toured the NEUC Menara Nantah , Tan Lark Sye library and the Nanyang University Archive Centre, where they gained a deeper understanding of the development of Chinese education in Malaysia, as well as our school university’s historical background and future development plans.
