Delegation from Qingdao Jimo District
On December 21, 2024, representatives from Qingdao Jimo District visited New Era University College for a tour and exchange.
The attendees from Qingdao Jimo District included Mr.Ma MingQiang (Deputy District Head, People's Government of Qingdao Jimo District), Mr.Liu XinZhao (Director, Ocean Development Bureau of Qingdao Jimo District), Mr.Chi HongChao (Town Mayor of YiFengDianZhen, Qingdao Jimo District), Mr.Yu Jian (Town Mayor of JinKouZhen,Qingdao Jimo District).Representatives from NEUC attending included Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head, International Student Recruitment Office), Ms.Lee Hui Wen (Head, International Student Service Centre), Ms.Wong Wai Shee (Head, Department of Chinese Language and Literature), and Mr.Lee Hong Yi (Education Programme Specialist).
During the communication meeting, our representative Ms.Phang Hui Ting introduce our school's course and basic information to the representatives from Qingdao Jimo District.Accompanied by our school's representatives, the visiting representatives toured Tan Lark Sye Library, Nantah Resource Centre and the teaching buildings in our school. During the visit, they gained a deeper understanding of our school's historical background, founding intentions, and the development of Chinese language education in Malaysia.After the visit, we presented souvenir to the representatives from Qingdao Jimo District, and took a group photo in front of our school's administration building.
