Delegation from Anhui Overseas Exchanges Association and Uniting Education Sdn Bhd
On September 12, 2024, representatives from the Anhui Overseas Exchanges Association and Uniting Education Sdn Bhd visited New Era University College for in-depth discussions on topics such as the development of Chinese language education, academic exchanges, and cultural interactions. After the meeting, Professor Dr. Mok Soon Chong, Vice-Chancellor of NEUC, led the delegation on a tour of the Tan Lark Sye Library and the Nantah Resource Centre, sharing the development process of the comprehensive Chinese language education system in Malaysia, from primary and secondary schools to universities.
The attendees included Ms.Li Hongya (Secretary-General, Anhui Overseas Exchanges Association) and Mr.Cao Song (Officer, Anhui Overseas Exchanges Association), as well as Mr.Ling Wang (CEO, Uniting Education Sdn Bhd) .The representatives from NEUC were led by Mr. Lim Joo (Acting Chairman, Board of Directors) , Mr. Ngeow Yin Ngee (Assistant Honorary Secretary, Board of Directors), Professor Dr. Mok Soon Chong (Vice-Chancellor), Associate Professor Dr. Tey Shi Bin, [Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International and Corporate Development)], Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head,International Student Recruitment Office) and Ms. Lam Yan Ci [Secretary of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International and Corporate Development)].
