Exploring "100 Possibilities" of Studying Abroad
On May 16, 2026, the Institute of International Education of New Era University College (NEUC) organized the Thematic Exchange Program for Diploma and Undergraduate International Students under the theme “100 Possibilities of Studying Abroad”.
Chinese international student alumna Li Fulei was invited as the guest speaker to engage in a meaningful dialogue with international students on topics related to growth, choices, and studying abroad.
Drawing from her own overseas study experience, Li Fulei shared stories about her academic journey, daily life, and personal growth in a foreign country. She encouraged students to embrace the uncertainties and challenges of studying abroad with an open mind, while exploring their own unique possibilities through different experiences.
The event then continued with an anonymous Q&A and open sharing session. Students raised questions on topics such as academics, interpersonal relationships, cultural adaptation, and future planning, gaining inspiration and resonance through the exchange.
In addition to the sharing session, students also engaged in discussions based on different scenarios and topics, sharing their own understanding and experiences of international student life.
This was followed by an interactive “Quick Response” session, where students made instant choices based on various perspectives and feelings about studying abroad, allowing them to learn to understand and respect different viewpoints in a diverse environment.
More than just a sharing session, “100 Possibilities of Studying Abroad” provided international students with a platform to share, listen, and reflect. Through meaningful interactions and personal stories, participants were able to rediscover the significance of studying abroad and see more possibilities for growth and self-discovery.
