New Era University College and Fujian Preschool Education College Sign International Cooperation Agreement

On 19 March 2025, a delegation from New Era University College visited Fujian Preschool Education College with the aim of engaging in-depth exchanges, exploring more feasible collaborative projects, and further signing an international cooperation agreement based on these discussions.

During the meeting, representatives from both universities introduced their respective development statuses and future plans, followed by discussions on the joint construction and implementation of cooperative projects. The delegation from NEUC also conducted on-site visits to two affiliated kindergartens of the college and exchanged views on the talent cultivation models and development prospects in early childhood education between the two countries.

The representatives from NEUC included: Associate Professor Dr. Hsu Chia Fang (Head, Department of Early Childhood Education), Ms. Lee Yun Xin (Head, Department of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language), Ms. Phang Hui Ting (Head, International Student Recruitment Office), and Ms. Lim Jia Yi (Education Programme Specialist). The representatives from Fujian Preschool Education College included: Professor Dr. Lin WeiChuan (Deputy Party Secretary and President), Ms. Liu ShuMin (Director, Office of Party and Administration), Ms. Lin XiangHao (Party Secretary, Department of Preschool Education), Associate Professor Miao PeiJun (Deputy Director, Department of Education), Associate Professor Chen ZhiQiang (Vice Dean, Department of Teacher Education Development), Professor Chen BingLong (Professor, Department of Preschool Education), and Ms. Liu BingLing (Principal, First Affiliated Kindergarten).

Lastly, Associate Professor Dr. Hsu Chia Fang (Head, Department of Early Childhood Education) from NEUC delivered an academic lecture titled "Trends and Prospects in Early Childhood Education" which generated active engagement from the faculty and students of Fujian Preschool Education College.

This visit and the signing of the international cooperation agreement mark the deepening of collaboration between the two universities. It is anticipated that in the future, they will work together to cultivate more professionals in the field of early childhood education while also contributing to the joint development and exchanges in the educational endeavors of China and Malaysia.
