64 representatives from Chinese vocational colleges visited New Era University College (NEUC)
On 11 November 2024, a delegation of 64 representatives from Chinese vocational colleges visited New Era University College (NEUC) for a tour and exchange discussion. To promote cultural exchange between the two countries, NEUC organized a lecture on the "Brief History of Chinese Education Development in Malaysia," presented by Assistant Prof. Dr. Lew Siew Boon (Head, International Academic Exchange Office). During the lecture, Dr. Lew introduced the delegation to the historical development of Chinese education in Malaysia, providing insights into its background and status.
Following the lecture, the delegation toured the Tan Lark Sye library and the Nanyang University Archive Centre, where they gained a deeper understanding of our school’s history, founding mission, and the evolution of Chinese education in Malaysia. At the end of the visit, delegation members expressed their admiration for the dedication and development of Chinese education in Malaysia and offered high praise for ours efforts in promoting Chinese education and culture.
