February Semester - Orientation Day for Undergraduate and Graduate Students

The new semester has begun, and a new group of international students is ready to embark on a journey of knowledge at New Era University College. The Institute of International Education (IIE) organized an "Orientation Day for International Students" on Monday, March 6, 2023.

During Orientation Day, Head of International Professional Development Ms. Yap Seow Yu, encouraged the new students to study earnestly and meet the required attendance and academic performance each semester. She also assured the students that they can report any issues to the IIE, as the staff is always ready to provide assistance.

Subsequently, Ms. Lee Hui Wen from IIE introduced the Overseas Student Association, and encouraged the new students to take on leadership roles to organize more activities for their peers. Ms. Lee also explained important safety precautions for both studying and living in Malaysia to help the international students adapt to life in Malaysia.

During the ice-breaking session, the staff of IIE and undergraduate international students mingled, discovering each other's interests and personality traits through interactive games.
