On August 21st, Professor Masutani Satoshi from Department of Culture and Tourism Studies of Rikkyo University led a delegation of 8 students from Rikkyo University to New Era University College for a visitation campus.

Under the guidance of Ms. Wee Wen Sxuan, the Education Programme Specialist from Institute of International Education, students had begun their campus tour which also visited our Tan Lark Sye Library and the Nantah Resource Centre. Next, Ms. Phang Hui Ting, Head of International Student Recruitment Office, introduced the postgraduate programs and campus activities of New Era University College.

During the day’s activities, the Japanese Culture Research Society introduced Malaysian culture and traditions to students, engaging in games and cultural exchange. Furthermore, a captivating performance by the I-Cool Percussion and the 24 festive drums experience also further enhanced the cultural exchange. This event served as a cultural feast, fostering a close connection between Rikkyo University and New Era University College. The performances and interactive experiences not only showcased cultural diversity but also strengthened the bonds of friendship between the students from both institutions.
