As part of New Era University College’s 25th-anniversary celebrations, the scholarship award ceremony was held at the 25th-anniversary gala dinner on Sunday, November 19. We are honored to invite Ambassador Ouyang Yujing to present awards to the recipients of year 2022 and 2023. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the embassy has established the “Chinese Ambassador Scholarship” at New Era for 4 consecutive years, supporting over 100 students. This initiative has allowed everyone to tangibly feel the warmth brought by the Sino-Malaysian friendship. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing expressed that the embassy will continue to care for and support the students, striving to create opportunities for extensive exchanges and interactions between the Chinese people and the Malaysian populace, especially the youth. He looks forward to more Malaysian youth getting involved in cultural exchanges between China and Malaysia, fostering deeper cooperation between the countries in the future.

Ambassador Ouyang Yujing, together with Counselor Zhao Changtao, Vice-Chancellor Mok Soon Chong, Dr. Yap Kon Sang, and Mr. Lim Joo, took a group photo with the recipients of 2022 and 2023 Chinese Ambassador Scholarships
